Lately I’ve taken to drawing from life . . . or should I say death? So all in my sketchbook, headstones, ghosts, and ghouls ink their way over the pages. I’ve been spending a lot of time in my favorite local graveyard with Hannah Breufer “esteemed for her meekness” and Rab McBeth “Who died for the want of another breath.” Most of the graves are well over one hundred years old and it makes a pleasant spot for a picnic.
